One morning i was walking my dog it was very windy. I heard a tree that had fallen several years ago, make a squeeky sound towards another tree. I used the sound on old footage on a wooden-boat.

I sampled the bell tree at our church. After seeing how much the instrument costs at the music store, i opted to not buy one. The long version of this moves from left to right, and has the single sample repeat twice. So it begins on the left, has a delayed start in the center, then finally a third repeat starts on the right. Add liberal amounts of reverb, to taste. If you use this in a film, or game, or in music, could you please let me know in the comments? i don't mind sharing stuff for free, but the compensation i get is learning about people using and appreciating the sounds. This is the birds we hear in shrubs every singing around 10 am in early december. The birds cannot be seen but fly out to our garden and then we see they are all tree sparrows.

So, i recorded sound of wind blowing using my mic. Yeah its not really wind since it was me who was blowing the air to make this sound but it sounds similar. Feel free to use it :).

The soundscape at the bottom of the dried moat of arundel castle in late spring. There's a strong breeze running through the trees, crows calling, an aeroplane, a couple of flies buzz past. I was laying in the sunshine about 10 meters away, falling asleep :). Sound devices mixpre3 and rode svmx, bit of low cut applied (60hz, 12db/oct) and a small amount of higher frequency boost to compensate for the wind cut i had fitted.

These are two separate recordings with my yamaha pocketrak of a single robin and you can hear the other robin answering in the distance. Though i like to watch robins pull worms from the ground and love their song, they also have a bad habit of sitting on my truck mirrors and crapping on my truck doors. :^) please comment on what you may use it for. :^).

I stood quite sheltered from the wind, above me the rustling trees from the breeze that was just blowing. In the distance a dog was barking. Nice stereo effect :-). The recording is edited. Sound from near my flat (great barr birmingham uk) at around 4am. There are various bird sounds within this file aswell as being able to hear the m6 motorway in the distance (i did try to accent this by pointing the mic in different directions). There are also 3 types of footstep sounds, grass, dirt with stones, concrete slab. My wind shield isnt the best so hopefully you can find some use of the sounds!.
