In the south of france near "villeneuve les maguelones ". I walked thru wet land to record a group of flamingo. From 0 to 1"30 i walked. At 1"45 the flamingo began their discussion. Recorded with nagraivs and a pair of beyermc930 in ortf configuration.

Some birds recorded in stereo in the woods near my house. It is some low frequent sounds in background but you can just send it through an equalizer with a highpass-filter and then get rid of it.

Here in the midwest one sure sign that winter "has left the building" is when the neo-tropical migrants arrive in the forests to gorge themselves on the multitude of insects, and to raise a family. One of my favorite bird-songs is this "zipper" sounding call of the northern parula. Perhaps you have heard this very unique call while out in the woods. I recorded this with my zoom h4n recorder, using its internal stereo microphones. This sound was recorded around 7am on april 29th 2013.

This is a field recording from my friend walker's yard in las cruces, nm that i made on a band tour in may 2006. There is a horse running by on the road at one point and some dogs in the background, but the morning doves stand out the most and sound really beautiful at points. Elizabeth evans park in mount dora, florida is a small park surrounded on two sides by lake dora. It's a great place to watch the birds, the boats, and the sunset.

This is a recording on the beach of dangar island in the hawkesbury river, nsw, australia. It features a lot of local bird songs and a touch of ocean ambience. The field-recording was taken with a tascam dr-44wl, with the onboard xy mic pair @ 24bit 48khz.

Bird song recorded in my back yard. One particular bird with a quite complex song steals the show. Includes moderate background noise from distant traffic.

At first you can hear the ambience of a village (middle of june) with distant car road. Than a group of starlings arrive and eat cherries from a tree. At about 7'15" they suddenly depart. There is again some ambience after they have flown away.
