In-cabin recording of a qatar airways boeing 787 dreamliner landing at doha international airport (qatar), followed by announcements in arabic and english. The aircraft touches down at 0:47, the english in-flight arrival announcement is broadcast at 3:44, and there is a bounty of ambient noise including seatbelts clicking, bags zipping, and chatter from passengers. This was recorded in-person from my seat with a tascam dr-40. I was located mid-section (just behind the wings) in an aisle seat. Public domain: i have released this audio file into the public domain. First test sample using 2 ntg3's for seperate left and right audio channels. Recorded using fostex fr2-le, mogami neglex quad xlr cables. Aircraft were about 10-20ft about microphones.

Simple propeller sound in a cartoon style.

Loop able helicopter in flight. Unprocessed. Cleans up pretty good with just an eq(turn down the higher frequencies).

This is a simulated aircraft flyover made from a tablefan and some processing. This is my first sound effect. It is normalized and should be mixed quite low for a believable effect.

The day after a tornado in a residential neighborhood, songbirds singing as a loud helicopter passes overhead. Distant beeps of equipment clearing debris. Chirps from a police siren making its way through.

A ufo ship flying into your proximity.

If you stand just underneath a commercial airplane as it's coming in to land (as was the case here at dfw airport) and so long as there's not a lot of noise around you (like loud traffic, etc. ) then when the jet passes overhead, what you can't see is that at the tips of the wings are rapidly spinning vortices of air that coil off the wingtips as the plane passes through air. These long, coiling spirals of air will eventually "close" and as that happens, it creates a momentary but bizarre, surreal sound that you really need to hear for yourself in person to get the full effect. This was the best i could capture on august 15th, 2022. Enjoy!.

This is the forth part of four sounds of a cessna 152. Here is the approch and the landing. At about 0’30’’, we car ear the engine slowdown and at 4’03’’ the flaps deployment. The touch down on grass runway is at 9’57’’. Recorded on 2017/10/21 around the namur aero club with an olympus ls 100.

Outside my house recording of a helicopter that was circling overhead; not directly, but at an oblique angle - maybe a mile away or so. You can hear some birds and other ambient neighborhood sounds as the helicopter circles overhead a few times.

Recording of a passenger jet landing at zurich international airport. The recording was made approx 30meters below the aircraft as it came into land. 20kph west wind and rain. 96khz 24bit wav stereo.

Brownian noise sounding like a flying plane at 3×10^4 feet above the earth. . . I created that in audacity! final peak amplitude: 0. 75000 (linear) -2. 49877 db. I applied a bunch of filter curves to make this 90 second loop, normalized to 75% volume. I started with 120 seconds, then made it 90 seconds. Estimated start pitch: d2 (75. 000 hz). Because of the 1024 mb limit, i can't upload the 108-minute version (2 channels, 24-bit, 48000 hz costs 1. 74 gib). Sorry. The final sample rate is 48000 hz, 24-bit wav. I created this myself in audacity 3. 1. 3, so no need to attribute! :). Note: this sounds like it's the 2370 screen ;o).

Recorded the whole seven to eight minutes long show in a relatively secluded location, so there is minimal to none audience in the recording.
