Doorbell: digital door bell, chime, ringing. Synthesised electric sound; augmented third(b-g), wireless home door bell. Recorded with zoom h4n. 24 bit, 48khz. Converted to flac.

This sound of alarm clock was entirely made with audacity. First, i generated a sinusoïdal key at 575 hz with an amplitude of 0. 11 during 3 seconds. Then i deselect my track and i generated an other sinusoïdal key at 1500 hz with an amplitude of 0. 33 during 3 seconds too. I deselected the track and i generated a final sinusoïdal key at 2800 hz with an amplitude of 0. 56 during 3 seconds. Next i selected my 3 tracks and i clicked on track - mix and render to a new track. I added a tremolo effect with a reverse serrated and a degree of 0, a level of 100 and a frequence at 25,0 hz. The wave must looks like stuck triangles.

I recorded this sound back in 2002. Playing around with something metal and jingly. I forgot what was used.

I collect telephones and always have them hooked up to the landline. These are the most boring ones i own, consisting of analog home and office telephones with different ringtones ringing in sync. Interesting sound that i made accidentally and reminded me to the noise that i've heard in the movie ''the ring''.

A metallic bowl which when rubbed circuitously with a pestle style cylinder creates a beautiful note that gradually builds into a full ringing tone. I'm unsure if this is technically a tibetan signing bowl or not. . . Feel free to correct me. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 internal mics, set to xy position , in a converted farmhouse.

This is a short sample from a noise track i just completed. It sounds a lot like someone screaming/roaring into a microphone, but it's actually a roland juno-6 played through various fx pedals (boss metal zone, boss xtortion, boss me-30 on ring mod setting, danelectro fish & chips, and a sprinkling of various other fx pedals throughout the recording). Recorded direct to sound card.

This sound happened by accident. Guaranteed there's no duplicate sound out there. I tried to separate the rings by a suitable time period to sound realistic, and spaced at the end so it could be looped to ring for as long as you need.

The sound of a spoon tapping on a glass, producing a clear ringing sound. Often used to get attention at formal occasions or large dinner settings.

Plucking the rim of an empty wine glass with my finger. Recorded a bunch of samples then isolated the ones i liked into this file. Left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. While all the samples were initially recorded at 16-bit 44100hz, some of the later ones compiled into this wav were accidentally saved at 8-bit and have gathered some noise as a result. All samples recorded using a blue yeti microphone. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. Attribution appreciated but not required.

This is the ringer of a cheap ge phone that my father had. I think he used it because it was loud and obnoxious and he could hear it.
