A short clip of a recording i made from my cbf600 motorcycle gearbox and chain. You can hear gearbox wine (normal), the sound of the chain running over the drive sprocket, some gear shifts and a little wind noise. I recorded it to see what it sounded like. It can make a good reference with which to compare should you think there is a problem in the future. I like the sound of the engine running and gears, normally drowned out by the exhaust. I clipped the mic to the gear lever. If i do it again i will place it further away from the sprocket.

In this record you can hear the noise of the chain of one bicycle being pedaled. Is like a hum. It is a sound object used in the sonic ensemble soundscape for the sound creation lab project. It was recorded using a zoom h4 recording device at roc boronat street, barcelona. The recording was edited with a fade in and out effect.

This is my recording of a bicycle bell ringing.

J'ai produit ce son en tournant la roue avant d'un vieux vélo et en freinant doucement. Les patins vieux et secs grincent sur le métal de la roue. Enregistré dehors, devant la maison, avec un smartphone. I produced this sound on an old bicycle. I turn the front wheel by hand, and i smoothly brake at the same time. As the brake pads are old and dry, it gives this monstruous squeaking :d. It's recorded outdoors, using a smartphone.

A sound of a tightening wrench (a bike repair kit) being spun around to produce its distinct ratchet like sounds. Foley fun: put to 25% of its rate and you get convincing metallic gear sounds, apply a tiny bit of reverb, maybe layer it with some screeching sounds from other users (or me, your choice) or a slow gate shutter to get a nice mechanical door opening sample.
