Several breakbeats i made using sliced samples of cyberia's breaks. Mostly cut&paste in audacity, so i'm not sure of the bpm, but i normally ignore that anyways. . . Processed with overdrive, chebyshev, and various other distortionate effects, and compressed. I'm somewhat new to making drum breaks, i'm used to making loops, so tell me how i'm doing! any suggestions for improvement appreciated also, thanks, and enjoy the b-b-b-breaks!http://freesound. Iua. A simple 303 loop (not an actual 303, it's the nekobee softsynth). I recorded it in fixed point with a much too high input volume, so it was very distorted. It sounds kind of cool. You may use this sound for any purpose without attribution.

High resonance experiment with ts-404. This is a somewhat average techno-ish loop. Pretty simple. Only minor editing in audacity (ie. Normalize, remove noise, compress).

I was inspired by urbexshauny's dark atmos, (http://freesound. Org/people/urbexshauny/sounds/367611/) so i threw the excellent "punch" drum synth at it, with a bit of indigo2 virus and a stack of compression everywhere. Bpm is at 90, the loop is from about 5. 10 thru the end.

While fooling around with the beat repeat plugin in ableton one day, i noticed it would do this cool rhythmic decrescendo whenever i would hit "repeat". But not when i would export! so i just kept messing around with a simple hi-hat loop with audacity running in the background. I've cut down and sampled this recording many times, think it's time i let it go to see what the internet can do with it ;).

Siren effect made with pc speaker beeps. (from 99 sq. Hz to 800sq. Hz (10 step) and vice versa.

I cut a few short clips from some of my projects to submit to a project that i had seen on the. Microsound mailing list. It's pretty fun to do this, i will try to garnish more goodies and share them with the world soon!. This is a short, textural loop with a slight click that makes me think of markus popp's music. It was synthesized completely using ableton operator.

Sounds like rain. Made from crumpling tin foil. Should loop seamlessly. Boosting some of the lower frequencies (around 80 - 100 hz) should add some thunder for you.
