4ch-surround, wide angle field recording of the seaside at warnemünde on the german baltic riviera. Recording was conducted in october 2013 on a hotel balcony approx. 100m away from and 20m above the shoreline. Recorded with a zoom h2, these are the rear channels, mics set to 120° dispersion.

My neighbour is working at the second floor. Metal hit, pushing heavy stuff, crackings and vibrations by some human body mass at the old wood floor. In the second plan, we can hear passing a train and some cars. Quiet atmosphere with singular acoustic, like a sunday's work.

Wrote/recorded a free chill tune that used the chimes at 120bpm using ableton live 9 stock plugins:chimes and bowlight and shadow. Thunderstorm recorded in essex, uk. Not far from an estuary so there are wading birds escaping the storm overhead. I have edited together the best bits of the storm with a fluctuation of rain intensity and frequent thunder rolls. Recorded with a zoom h6 msh-6 stereo mic.

Night-time wide angle stereo recording of manhattan, as heard from across the east river, the recorder was kindly allowed access to the veranda of the riverview restaurant & lounge in long island city and is facing the manhattan skyline. Some noises of the restaurant can be heard in the background, very subdued, the quiet lapping of the east river can be heard in the foreground, and manhattan bustle and traffic on the fdr drive is in the wide range. Recorded in march 2012 with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.
