Recording at the conningham reserve, tasmania. September 2019. Lots of different kinds of bird. Wind from still to gusty, rustling the gumtrees all around. Some passing cars ruin the atmosphere, and a highway is a bit too close. Two nt1-a microphones, steinberg c1 usb pre amp, recorded on phone.

Half an hour of a large waterfall with also the river that is next to it. This waterfall is located in goldstream park in vancouver island. Full discolure> after minute 3 the sound is looped. Recorder with a tascam dr-05.

A night in august, standing in the woods, the cicadas fill the air. In the distant a train, upclose a phone alert!.

This was recorded at the edge of a field, so it's literally a field recording. It's summer, there has been some rain but now it has stopped and the sun is out. A lark is singing its heart out. There is some wind noise which i've reduced with eq and noise removal using audacity, also some traffic noise from the road some way to my right (hard to get away from traffic noise). Recorded with a zoom h1 using the in-built microphones.

Recorded with tascam dr-07mkii. While on holiday staying in a country cottage near some cow fields, there was a mother cow and what must have been her 2 calves which had been put into separate fields either side of a road. This was obviously pretty distressing for the cows and so they were constantly mooing at each other and being the kind of guy i am, of course i recorded it!. I have done as much as i can to reduce wind and other background noises (the windshield i have for my dr-07 doesn't seem to do a lot except make it look like it's got a 70s afro) and have trimmed all the cow sounds out and put them together into this one file. Some are better than others, it was hard to know which cow was gonna make a noise next. Free to use for anything, if you use it, would be cool if you let us know where in the comments, be interesting to see where they end up :).
