Closing a wooden door in my apartment, somewhat aggressively. This was recorded in stereo with two matched akg c568 b microphones, going into a sound devices 633 recorder. Audio was trimmed in adobe audition with a very gentle high-pass filter. Sound two of two.

I used bdx for the kick, sent through disto-fx and various eq plugins. Cymbalistic was used for the hihats, with further eq and gating placed on it. The snare was from a free sample pack (i can't remember the name of) sent through a resonator, eq plugins and some soft-clippers to give it a bigger sound. Clipmax was used on the master channel.

The window in my studio has an exceptionally long tail of the spring vibrating. I could see this with some effect thrown on being very useful in music or fx situations. Recorded with a zoom h6, stereo xy attachment with internal compression.
