Homemade screams / voice + effects.

A barred rock hen's guttural scream. Short and soft in tone, but high-pitched. Recorded using a microphone placed inside a nest box. Best used as a simple creature sound effect.

Female voice: "why can't anybody hear me?!" with some backgroundnoise/music. Clip from the movie "carnival of souls" which is in publicdomain. Cruddy quality source.

Had a hard bacterial bronchitis. Took some deep breaths. Recorded it. That was fun (except of having the bronchitis).

A jumpscare/screamer sound that can be used for a horror game. I yelled into the mic, i then edited it with a few effects, then i added one of the snare samples built into the daw, then i added a synth (fake synth built in to the daw) and then heavily distorted it with a few more effects. My yelling was recorded with my phone's built-in mic and the daw i used was fl studio mobile (used cloud storage to transfer to my computer). I made this for my five nights at freddy's fangame.

Why does everything i upload sound like people screaming and/or chainsaws!?. Sound source is a contact mic producing feedback into various fx. The main fx used for the clip are a sirkut electronics gnarler, boss metal zone, dod grunge, and finally, a danelectro french fries auto wah. Recorded direct-to-sound card as usual. This is a sample taken from a longer piece.

Effects used: behringer micro-mixer (used here as a "clean boost/volume effect), sirkut electronics gnarler, danelectro eq, boss xtortion, and boss metal zone, with various other fx sprinkled throughout.
