This is a (-nother) synthetic soundscape i did some years ago, reminiscent of a wide, enclosed, dark cavern, very good for subtly underlaying film scenes playing in appropriate locations. Originally, it is a recording of me blowing on a beer-bottle, captured by a sennheiser condenser mic, and then receiving some attention by the yamaha multi-effects generator in my university back then. I still like and use it a lot today.

Annoying electro drone noise.

A sci-fi sound effect suggestive of a passing spacecraft. Pans from l to r with doppler shift of frequency.

Designed with malstroem and basic 64. Malstroem. Graintable synthesis with "random" lfos and a freeware synth called basic 64, that is often used for the reproduction of c64 sounds. But here, the patch sounds like tools. It's a different synthesis, similar to the subtractive synthesis, but not as easy to handle as e. G. A minimoog synth or a prophet 5.

Acoustic guitar tapped and strummed, tambourine rattle.

Lots of noise.

Four occurrences of the same phrase, all modulated differently. Each phrase is the sample "damn son, where'd you find this," reversed and processed with harmor and vocodex.

It sounds like a cartoon alien shooting.

Quindar sounds were used by nasa for controlling the ground station transmitters that allowed communication with spaceships through the space shuttle era. Fiber optic cable has made quindar sounds obsolete. This sound, at 2525 hz, was generated when the capsule communicator pressed the ptt button on his microphone, and the pitch told the ground station transmitters to start broadcasting. Synthesized sci-fi shooting. This is a one of the results of my attempt to complete a school assignment. We were supposed to create a gun or canon fire sound with audiogen synthesizer. Let say that this is my best result that could be "loosely" called a gun firealthough it has a sci-fi spin on it :-).
