Recording of late night ambience in the suburbs, featuring distant cars, sirens, dogs and some wind through the trees. This one feels ominous and vaguely unsafe, with a howling dog and distant revving car. Recorded in brisbane, australia with a bp4025 microphone and zoom f6 floating-point recorder.

The drone has a form of pattern repeating every 2 minutes. But other thing are vaguely linked to this pattern. The heart of this patch is intellijel quadra + expansion. I'm using 3 oscillators and noise. I add some character to the sound with a driver pedal (boss bd-2).

An ambient track for a horror game or clip that i made for a project i'm working on. Let me know what you think of it. The sound was made from various vst's in fl studio about a month back. I just sequenced out a melody i vaguely remembered from an old horror game and improvised from there. You're allowed to do whatever you want with it.

In my vague times, i wonder what the sound of small pieces of wood in the middle of the vastness of the forest, the sound of the trees beating with their different leaves, pity that is just an illusion of my mind, a citizen of the big city where vehicles and crowds make everyday noise. The drum sound and cuica met was really cool to ambient music and sound effect with reduction and increase in volume.

Looking at the spectrogram waveform display of https://freesound. Org/people/ivolipa/sounds/344948/ i noticed a few patterns. Distinct bands of high volume at around ~600hz, ~1200hz, ~1800hz, the fade in volume toward higher frequencies, a ubiquitous noise, and the soft staccato rhythm. Using these facts, i tried to make yet another engine sound with fm-synthesis. Sound forge 7 — to my knowledge — lacking a spectrogram, i've no clue if this was a successful attempt, but it does have a vaguely engine-like sound.

Some raw one-shots from my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer recorded and edited using ni maschine. In my ears they sound way better with a bit of compression, but i thought the unprocessed files would be more useful. Naming is super vague. Recorded back in may 2014. Upper maxwell falls, evergreen, co, at the top of the falls. Recorded a little before dusk, 2017-07-19. Recorded binaurally using sound professionals ms-tfb-2 binaural microphone headset, 12vdc battery box, sound devices mixpre-6 at 24/192. Postprocessing: digital gain, downsampled to 16/48. Flac: encoded. The rock formations here play appealing tricks with the sound of the running and falling stream. Facing out over falls dropoff, vaguely. A lot of digital gain (+30db?) was applied in postprocessing. The analog preamp was originally set to +21db on the aux-in (ch5/6) input, but this may not have been the optimal gain staging. A sound created with csound.

This sound was recorded on the breakwater of gandia's beach. We can hear the movement of the waves of the sea crashing with the rocks andsome motorboats, sailboats and boats.

A 303 sample i sampled from my tb303workes great with only this sample in reason fl studio and so on.

A simple 440 hz tone (sine) created in audacity. Or at least that's what it's supposed to be. . . For some reason, when i uploaded it, it sounded all distorted.

A wave sound fabricated from other sounds:metal sliding doors, breaking glass and ice falling into water.

This is a sine-wave that sweeps from low to high. Cassette emulator is added and some reverb. A long high pitched tail is at the end, which i forgot to remove. Inspired by the film "wavelength" by michael snow.

If your reading this you probably recoiling in pain. Sorry about that. I was trying to replicate the same pitch you hear in those horror movie screams, you know the ones. The final result was more jarring than expected.
