A small square gate made out of metal and wire, being closed with a fairly strong force causing it to rattle. Recorded with a zoom h2n handy recorder.

Made in logic pro 10 this music is made with a nice and peaceful melody.

Another gong but bright-toned and more realistic.

Ben burtt style retro laser gun blast made from hitting a long fence wire. I left more of the tail resonance on this one. This recording is unprocessed so you can shape it yourself.

Small segment of violin and pipe mix.

Real electrical hum, lifted from the beginning of a public domain film before the action started. Like the kind of hum you get when there is a short circuit or ungrounded wire. With a little bit of authentic static thrown in.

The is a constant electronic drone generated by a program i made for the purpose of creating this tone. The tone is clipped and has random amplitude variations.

I scrapped a pick down the low e string of an acoustic guitar. Recorded with rode ntg-2 mic into zoom h6 handy recorder.

Band pass filters applied to a violin improvisation. Nice and ambient. No fades or other additional post production has been done.

A bunch of piano sweeps with pressed sustain pedal. Free improvisation using essex piano recorded with a sennheiser mk4, using pro tools. Sound first used in a sound collage.

An mp3 recording of an orchestra tuning up to an "a" with a violin leading, starting with the woodwinds and brass, then moving to the string section. Recorded with a black sony ic voice recorder.

I played around with a few sounds and created this by accident, i think it would be great for creating some sort of suspenseful kinda of dark'ish scene in a film.

Lowest string (f1, gauge 0. 74) playing again, but this time with heavy distortion and no reverb. There is some barely noticeable noise towards the end, picked up by the guitar pickups. Djenty, almost bass guitar stringish tone.

My lowest string (gauge 0. 74) on my schecter omen 8 being hit and left sustaining for about 43 seconds. Clean tone with a short reverb.

Recorded a guitar being plucked and slowed it down to 0. 1% speed. This creates the nice initial pluck sound. Then copied and resampled the copy and slowed down again by 0. 1% speed, this time preserving the original pitch. This created the ultra-long decay tail. Added eos reverb.

Some spooky chords i put together for this months dare project. Using alchemy vst setting atmospheric pads / gates of heaven, sequenced in jeskola buzz.

2 violins tune up outside for some reason. Birds and trucks are heard in the background. Recorded with a pcm-d50.
