Ice skating ambience: here you can hear the echo-induced atmosphere created by cold ice. The laughter and chatter of people reflect against the walls of this big hall. You can hear the slashing of ice and the swoosh of people racing against each other. An upbeat music can be heard further enforcing joy. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This is a great sound to create a joyful atmosphere.

I had this piano in the seventies. It was manufactured at italy and had this cheesy sound. The sound is very analog and is created with squarewaves. In the last year i bought it at ebay and repaired it. The sound had a lot of noise,so i resampled it and put it into my roland fantom,to get a better sound. This is the result. Have fun.

This is one of the original tubular bells used by mike oldfield, possibly for the 1999 tour. Note: this bell is only a dummy bell. My first posted sound effect, this is something made on my synthesizer for fun this morning that i think people could get use out of for horror videos and such, as the sound kind of reminds me of a spider or some kind of creature not unlike one scuttling across a wooden floor.

It's fun to patch up a kind of analog shift register (3 stages). Doepfer a-160 controls the stages. On a-160 i use /2, /4 and /8. I sample slewed noise. No quantizer.

I recorded my dishwasher with my phone and used made it into a shaker-ish loop by speeding it up and using an expander. Its kinda weird but with the right processing it can give a really nice texture and rhythm to your tracks. Tempo is 125 bpm. Have fun.
