I live next to a train track which at night can have a very moody atmosphere, listening to them whizzing by. These are both passenger and freight trains. All the sounds were recorded over the span of half an hour.
Night on a filed near a small town in mallorca. Wind, crickets are singing, someone steps on the gas in his car, dogs barking, night bird sings from time to time. Bells of some sheep are jingling.

This recording was made alongside a camera trap survey while at loagan bunut national park in sarawak, malaysia. It's a quite nice little bit that we didn't expect to ever find a use for, but came across this website and through i would share it. It lasts a good long time with pretty consistent sounds, so best wishes on it's use. Here's a recording i did from the third floor balcony of my hotel room in the hyde park area of london. It was a noisy spot, but very atmospheric and ideal for recording street sounds, especially in stereo. Recorded on a tascam dr-40.

This is a mixture of crickets and frogs i put together in audacity to create a pleasing night ambience to be used as a backdrop to sleep and music videos.
This night sound was recorded in south alabama in a bottom by a creek. It was recorded using a zoom h1 with the rode videomic go attached a dead cat windscreen was used. The clip was cleaned up in adobe audition cs6. The clip is edited so it can be used as a loop.
