Many penguins are swimming in the water. Some of them cry. ( i don't now how i say this in a better english ). You can hear water, penguins and some other birds. I record this sound in the zoo of leipzig / germany with a zoom h2. .

A low but fairly clean recording from a small park of starlings scavenging in the trees and grass. There is a low-level hum from nearby water and urbanity, and a train whistles in the distance then its rumble can be heard.

Recorded before the sun rose, rain and the occasional bird chirping. I thought it would be clearer that the rain is hitting the tin roof of a nearby building but it barely comes through. Recorded with zoom h1n.

This sound was recorded in a forested area called lot 2, a low lying floodplain in the town of coffs harbour. It might be bulldozed to make land room for houses. A busy morning in the deep woods in mid april. Recorded in the shawnee forest in illinois on april 15th, 2017 using the sound devices 702 and the stereo microphone, audio technica bp4025. A true stereo recording. The migrating birds have arrived from central and south america. This shows how nature sometimes can be quite loud and busy! pretty cool to listen to with good headphones on.
