I made 3 copies of each sample:a-stretch of 25% and passed in guitar cab simulatorb-lowered by 5-7 semitones and passed in a bass chorusc-passed in a very bland reverblayers and passed in the art vla2 compressor. . . I like them very much. . . Try and enjoy. . (also works with other percussive sounds).

The first thing i've made exploring garageband! the melody is taken from the yiddish folk song "ale brider/un mir zaynen ale brider" (all are brothers/and we are all brothers). I hope you like it!.

One night while recording vocals it was really windy outside, and the wind slammed one of the doors in my house shot. The sound got caught by the mic and i liked it enough to use it as a snare sample for that same song i was recording vocals too. Hope you'll find a creative use for it!.

This is the first sound in a new pack called "in reality". This new pack was made to showcase the sounds made for stuff like music loops before they are distorted. This one is the original recording (with most static removed) of ceramic_crash. I simply hit a small ceramic bowl with a teaspoon 2 times.

Created in waveform-10 using 1 instance of zynaddsubfx with 3 layers of hi pass filtered oscillators which were tweaked in detail to sound more like noise. Theres a little reverb, delay and distortion in there. The other oscillator was white noise created in 4osc ( native waveform-10 plugin ).

This is one of the original tubular bells used by mike oldfield, possibly for the 1999 tour. Note: this bell is only a dummy bell. It was stuffed with foam and fitted with a transducer to trigger a sample. I took the foam out and gave it a thwack! great fun but it sounds absolutely terrible in my opinion.

Recordings with a telephone coil microphone recording sounds from an external blu ray drive and a smartphone (telephone coil recorded via behringer xenyx q1202 usb mixer, line-in) and 2. This is a beat i made using the percussion presets form fab filter 1 cm synth for a track i was writing. Each hit was then loaded into abletons impulse drum sampler and tweaked for my pleasure. The snare was subject to some serious stretching,which gives it a rasping sound!fab filter 1 really is a simple but very useful synth.

I modified the attack and cut the silence at the beginning and the end. Masse:groupe tonique. Timbre harmonique:clair et creux. Grain:assez rugueux. This siren whistle sound is often used as a comical cartoon sound effect where something is sent flying through the air. The acme siren is a chrome plated whistle that is often found in the percussion section of orchestras.
