This started out as a basic kick drum pattern i was experimenting with in ableton, and then devolved into me applying an obscene amount of delay, echo, reverb, compression, and filtering. And now it sounds vaguely like a helicopter :).

808 style bass with heavy distortion and tremolo with a loop. Tuned to e1 and the tremolo is at 154. 5 bpm. Was too cool to keep to myself xd, want to see what others can do with it.

Some kicks made with jomox mbase11 and sampled with mpc500.

Mapex birch kit, akg d112's on the beater, and at the edge of the outside hole, both slightly off axis, with front skin off, and blanket over the kick !! also used the overhead sound when i bounced this down, so it has some sustain !! enjoy !!!.

A footstep on a chainlink fence (actually just banging a shoe on metal bars). Recorded with a stereo zoom h1 handy recorder.

Kick drum created by merging, individual equalizing and compressing two others very different kicks. It works effectivly creating new kick drums superimposing the lower frequencies of one and the higher frequencies from another. Then group then and compress in order to melt them as they sound as one.

Low tom or kick sound. The reverb is actually filtered noise. 44100 16 bit mono made with microtonic drumsynth.

A cartoonish sound of feet scrambling or pattering at a fast run. Could also be used for a tumbling sound. Was created by having a medium-sized dog chase a tennis ball down a flight of stairs.

I hit the side of my dresser and it made a pretty sweet kick sound, alter it a little and it can sound pretty great!.

Another kick loop, pretty dark.

Drum loop with an effect called amplitude modulation, again composed on acid 1. 0 two to three years ago.

This loop is actually from my very first fl studio project, added a heavy compressor and crazy firegain settings.
