Steps are slaming on an airport floor followed by a wheeled case. Close up recording, the heels a little on the left and the case on the right hand side. Smooth voices arround and two ring tones. Brest, france, 2012. Recorder with schoeps ab orftrecorded on sounddevice 744tstereo, 48khz, 16 bits.

This is a kick i made with my mouth. I've been making this hardcore kick sound with my mouth since high school, more than 10 years. I blended two layers of the sample, one normal pitch one an octave down. Added a distortion and eq to it. Used adobe audition and fl studio to make this. 请享受.

A kick i created somewhere between 2012-2014. It belongs to a pack "harha's hardstyle kicks" and i don't have the interest to describe every kick in this pack separately. For pitching the bass part / tail up and down, i suggest using cool edit pro or adobe audition. Cubase pitching/timestretch algorithms are quite nice as well.

A basic drumsynth sequence with kick, close hihat and low tom. . .

This is a recording of two gretsch catalina maple floor toms, one 14 inches in diameter, one 16 inches. I replaced the original tom feet with pearl air suspension feet, which gave a huge improvement in tone, resonance and sustain. Recorded with a sony ecm-ds70p stereo recording microphone into an iriver h340 mp3 player. Normalized in sony sound forge.

I recorded it in some church in warsaw when draught close the doors. It's sounds like explosion or kick drum.

Kick drum created by merging, individual equalizing and compressing two others very different kicks. It works effectivly creating new kick drums superimposing the lower frequencies of one and the higher frequencies from another. Then group then and compress in order to melt them as they sound as one.

A 'psy' kick drum with the perfect hard core high frequency thud. Though also containing 65hz distinct bass frequencies.

Here was my attempt to simulate the kicks used by hip hop producer don cannon. Fully synthesized, no samples here. But, as stated in the title, i did gate the sound in order to get more attack.

Earlier, i could just make a very weak bass that doesn't sound good at all in some songs. I hope this "f" note bass was useful, or not too distorted.
