I did not use paul's extreme sound stretch, but rather took an original recording of a glockenspiel (with a lot of reverb), and set the playback rate to around 20% its original value. This is a recording i made of a handle-less serrated knife rubbing against another of the same type, back and forth. I then cut out the lighter points to leave the heavy tones, then i gave it a little stretch and filtered it. Recorded on a zoom h2.
