I created this sound by lightly rubbing a tissue on the microphone. I'm not entirely sure what it could be used for, perhaps as an equip sound effect in a game? anyways. . Hopefully it comes as useful to someone!.

I was looking for the sound of fabric ripping for a video i am working on and couldn't find anything suitable so i created my own. Three different cloth ripping noises. Two are short and one is a little longer. Recorded with my olympus ls-7.

Well, the closest i could get, anyway. Technically, it's a banana. One sudden peel, truncated, modified and reversed in various ways until it sounded (to me) like it could vaguely represent the sound of sewing. . . . I created this sound to mimic the rustle of a moving special force soldier's uniform. I used a baby carrier made of a rough fabric and just moved it in my hands.

Damp clothing being peeled away from the skin. Created by using white school glue left to go tacky on a cotton pad before being pressed on and pulled slowly off the skin.

This is a clothing rubbing foley sound, emulates the sound of couch moving, chair adjust, writing on table, moving around in clothing. Rolling up a very old rolling curtain. Honestly, at some parts it sounds like a bird taking off.

Recording #1 of my own shirt flapped, snapped, whipped, waved etc. If you pitch-shift this down (or slow it down) it can sound (imo) indistinguishable from, say, a large flag or large sail being pulled and snapped in the wind. This had recording noise removed, and silences auto-trimmed, with auto-regions from that trimming generated and saved in the file (handy for selecting a sound region easily or exporting regions as a lot of separate sounds). I request but do not demand attribution to me for use of this sound.
