I took one of the monster very deep voice sound and tweaked it to sound like some kind of raging infected because i had to do it for a game. It's kind of like the sound zombies make in movies where they are not really zombies but raging infected people. I used : pitch shift, time shift, octaver, eq, overdrive.

Recently, i have been playing "the last stand legacy collection" and got inspired to create some of my own zombie sound effects. These are all created by me from my own voice. Church bells ringing during saints week in valencia spain. They have somehow been muffled creating this eerie strange sound of something gone wrong, which reminded me and my wife of some zombie apocalypse soundtrack.

Not only do chicken carcasses make a tasty stock they also make great sounds when you mangle them about a bit!. Various squelching and squishing sounds with the occasional bone snap. No processing except small fade in/out. This one has a really annoying breath noise on the mic at the best bit unfortunately.
