Another fm synthesis experiment. The name tells you what it was meant to sound like. You tell me if it was anywhere near close.

A brief ui sound i am using, maybe you can use it too.

A series of heavily distorted synth stabs, more percussive than musical. Band pass filter.

User name fmagrao's sound 80761__fmagrao__siren was stretched, put in a sampler and played as described but of varying duration and it would appear that there is an optimum frequency range for these sirens. I will create a lower frequency version in due course and a foghorn/siren hybrid. Simple distortion bass.

A plunger stuck to the floor and pulled away.

Microphone feedback of varying lengths. Made by jamming earphone bud into the recorder's microphone with varying pressure, then cleaning out low end rumbling. Recorder: sony pcm-d100.

This is just a noise taken off my home phone, it is the standard noise that plays after punching in a number. I used a direct feed for this one, although there really was not much different. This is the only sound from a direct feed that wouldn't come in so terribly soft.

I turned on my audio device (sharp) and i listened cd, cassette and radio.

Recorded this on a zoom h4n. I take a couple of deep breaths then a couple of sharp inhalations (gasp). Feel free to share where you end up using this sound :).
