Iphone recording of a group of people sitting in a theatre in downtown boston, ma, prior to a film screening. The room was perfectly tempered and acoustically treated, and people were talking at a relatively normal level without echo or reverberation. It was too good to pass up recording it. At first, there are people talking near by, but towards the end, i am further back and the group chatter effect can be noticed in whole.

Walking down roman road market in east london, on a sunny saturday the 4th of august, 2018. Snatches of conversation in several languages are heard as i walked past.

Took my edirol 24bit recorder out to the local shopping village a few years back. I went for a walk through the car park and into the shopping center. Really some amazing sounds especially with delay added. I'll add more from this time and experiments if people seem interested. Brisbane australia (hence the sound of the walking alert buzzers foreigners seem to be weirded out by). Sound recorded at the massive people recording in ghent - belgium. About 40 people make sounds together, directed by henk our friendly director. Everything was recorded by 4 microphones and directly mixed down to stereo for recording. This is ariane testing the microphones with her insane scream. It left her without a voice the next 3 days. . .

I happened to put the recorder right next to where a bird (blackbird i think) decided to perch and start singing, so the song is really loud in places.
