Water rolling down a creek, over rocks and around a fallen tree, in stereo, with the water sounds moving from one ear to the other ear. We got in the van and drove down a rural road in arkansas, united states. On the side of that road, we found whittington creek. We continued and found where this creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs. This sound is used in the beginning of a 7-minute video of our adventure:http://elingreso. A squeaky wooden door being opened und shut in a medium sized room. Its recorded from about 2 meters distance so there's a moderate amount of room ambience on it. The sound has been slightly denoised. Equipment used: akg c214 running through a focusrite saffire pro 24.

Needed a really good bar drop for a film we where doing. This is a nice combo of a dead iron bar drop to a sawdust and straw wood floor with the addition of a metal bar dropped on wood. A little drop of a light bulb to finish the sound off. One drop not repeated. Created by paul villeneuve and dominic kaiser / stories by the river.

Recording of wind and rain in a storm in south uk, 28th oct 2013. Wind can be heard blowing through nearby woods and leaves rustling. Dripping of rain from the eves of the house. Mostly white noise hissing with volume rising and falling. Recorded using a canon d550 out the window/door. The files were edited to remove wind when it directly blows on the microphone.

Autumn forest wind. Heavy, fast gusty in tall pine trees. Some birds and raindrops. Soundscapes of natural white noise of moderate intensity. Some are stagnant or static and with few birds. The presents of the colourful red and yellow dry leaves that is still on the trees, creates the noise of the wind with rustling whispers. Is a constantly form of natural white noise that is always changing and evolving. These recordings is from my third attempt. I think it is very difficult to record the “spirit” and unique sound of the wind. This is pure natural wind sounds (no layering, no post-processing, no synthesizers). Originally recorded at 24 bit sony dat tcd-d7 on a sony ecm-909 microphone. Recorded in sweden september of 2007 in a wet cold beautiful colourful forest, with all kind of trees, far away from any traffic or human sounds.

Ascending to the second floor in my grandmother's barn. Assortment of thumps and squeaks, including a horribly loud, squeaky pulley and a pedal-operated flywheel thing, and some good footsteps going up and down a wooden staircase. Recorded on a sony pcm-d50.

Traffic sounds with wind and birds.

Plastic dice (1) rolling on a piece of paper on a wooden table (to simulate a carton board). Recorded with a se electronics se1 cardioid mic into motu 828mk2 interface, 48khz, pointing at the source, around 30cm away. Small, slightly treated room with reflective walls.

Recording of a small creek, water tumbling over a small limestone rock. I placed my zoom h4n recorder with built-in microphones so close that you will hear the ocassional "pop/puff" as a water drop actually hits the big foam wind-screen.

An interesting recording of birds, led by blue jays, doing their alarm calls. I was in the middle of the woods when i noticed that the birds seemed to be alarmed like there was a predator nearby and sure enough, i finally spotted a big barred owl sitting high in a tree about 50 yards from my recorder. Pretty amazing how the bird community sounds the alarm.

This is the same recording as the one titled earlyambirdslonecricketversionapril2012. Wav, but on this one i eq'd out all lows below 250hz in an attempt to eliminate the dull drone of an air conditioner. Recorded in early april 2012 at about 5:00 a. M. In a rural area. I used the handy zoom h4n with the internal built-in microphones.

A recording made around 5 am in early april. . . . The peaceful but yet exhilirating ambience of spring birds and crickets. There is an ocassional cricket who sounds like he literally must have been sitting point-blank in front of my microphone - a great surprise, you can literally hear his wings stridulating. Recorded using the handy zoom h4n and the built-in stereo mics.

These owls were recorded around 8:30 at night in the shawnee national forest using my trusty rode ntg-2 on a mic stand. Even though it was a mild night and the insects and frogs should have been vocalizing, they weren't. It was kind of neat -- a dead-quiet night with nothing but these owls. If you thought that owls only do "hoot-hoot" you'll be surprised. After about a minute into it they really get going.

A recording of strong spring wind gusts through a stand of mature, tall white pines in a midwest forest. I used my handy zoom h4n recorder, and i used my rode nt2 shotgun microphone, cable-tied to a sapling. No kidding, i forgot my sturdy tripod, so i improvised using some bungee cords that i carry with me, tied the shotgun to a sapling and this is what i recorded.

A recording of a fire going in my wood heater. You can hear the wood crackling and also the sound of the fan blowing the warm air out.

I was messing around with some voice effects and somehow ended up with this growl. It sounds like a noise a dinosaur or dragon would make. Or like a clicker from "the last of us. "also, if you slow it down, it sounds like wood creaking. Let me know if it's useful for you, hope it makes for some good sound design with whatever you're doing. I'm excited to hear what you do with this sound if you do use it.

Six recordings of me dropping planks onto bricks, which clatter as they hit the ground. I recorded this a while ago with my phone and decided to polish them up a bit. I used audacity and ozone imager to widen the stereo image. Recorded late 2018 or early 2019 with a samsung galaxy j2 pro.

Walking turning into running on a dirt path through the forest, typical forest ambience surrounds the sounds of feet on dirt.

Recorded on july 10th, 2019, perhaps around 11:30pm in the mountainous woods of chiayi county, meishan township in taiwan. It began drizzling and i thought the sound at night is quite beautiful. Excuse those weird bumps i made during the recording.

Recording during a strong autumn storm, with heavy rain, in a large garden, surrounded by big pine trees. The wind was so strong, that i had a fear that one of the branches of the pines could snap and fall on me. The recording is a 32bit float, 48khz ms-stereo one, made with a sennheiser mkh 416, and ambient ate 308 emesser figure of eight, in a røde blimp with fur cover. I was amazed that the blimp did its job this good in this strong wind.

Recorded on my iphone for a project, me hitting a shelf with trinkets on it that makes a loud thud and a rattle. Good for body impacts on furniture. Hard hit, good body and nice light rattle after.

The tree toads are finally here, after a long dry spell. The water dropped onto huge norway maple leaves overhead. Don't even ask why i was out there at 2 am.

Enormous symphony of tree frogs, a few crickets and even a foreign frog makes an entrance on this track. Mono, recorded with sm58, eq'd, compressed slightly and mixed to lufs levels indicated on file name.
