A field recording of small waves crashing on a sandy shore. Part of the recording includes the waves splashing against a wooden structure. The waves come a fast, regular intervals; this isn't the slow rolling crash of a barrel wave on the beach. There was a bit of wind (generating the waves) which i've did my best to minimize, but if you don't want wind in the recording you're going to need to edit around it. Recorded with a zoom h1 n. Waves lap gently against the sand shore, absorbed by tons of freshly strewn kelp. It is near a tide turn, so the wave action is relatively gentle. The sounds are more like lapping, and not crashing. It is a very gentle sound.

I had a little job which involved a cat drinking. . But first i had to record the bowl being put down. . . I placed the bowl down a few times - captured with correct room sound required. . To my amazement my cat decided to do somethign useful and actually came up to the bowl and started drinking the water. . . . . . Unfortunately i wasnt close mic'd - but my little booth is pretty quiet. . . .
