A nice & sunny recording session at the airport! positioned right at the flight path of departing planes, this served as a test recording for the tascam dr-40x. At some point during the session i decided to point the recorder straight up, instead of towards the planes themselves, creating a nice stereo "pass-by" effect.

This recording was made inside the room of my apartment in italy in the province of rieti, where i am carrying out a second flight test of my eachine e130 single-rotor radio-controlled helicopter, during the recording we also hear some small incidents. Recorded with the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

Testing/documening my bartonmusicalcircuits (bmc21) full wave dual rectifier. "this is an all analog synthesizer module used to alter the timbre and create new harmonic content. ". Sound:1. Sine wave not going throught rectifier2. Sine wave though rectifier3. Triangle though rectifier4. Square through rectifier5. Saw through rectifier. An lfo is modulating the bias.

Giving a test of my new mono lapel mic i noticed some interference/static on the right channel - which is strange as it is mono. . . . But i thought it sounded interesting and i hope it's useful to you. Comment what you used it in below for some extra exposure for your project - but it isn't necessary. Another patch on vcv rack. Sick! why am i doing this when i have the real thing :-) well it's fun and convenient. I can test modules and patch ideas. If i have three square waves i will do this one at home too. I have done similar patches before on my eurorack. . . . ((. . . And i can do it at work. . . )).

This is a test recording of my brand new rode shotgun microphone. I connected it to my sony recorder and did this recording. It sounds amazing for being the price that it was. This microphone was originally designed to be used with cameras, but i am using it as a handheld microphone. Hope you enjoy. Don’t know if my english is correct. . . Butt i guess you get it, dear reader. Test of how uoki-toki polivoks vcf handles sin-wave (ca 270hz) when the filter is self-oscillating. I bring the uoki-toki polivoks vcf to self-oscillation and tune the vcf to ca 270hz too. I let the lfo sweep the frequency. Cv1 pot at ca 70%. What happens. . .

I'm trying hard to learn/understand nlc genie. Bought the module 3rd hand. . . At least. Trying to replicate the sounds from andrews demo videos are to learn. 2 tri lfos to in1/2 and in2/3. Out- to wave folder and out+ to cv in on vco. The bass drum like sound is another story. But modulated by a nlc sloth. . .

My attempt at a heart beat sound effect, just quickly experimenting. Created by pulling on two sides of a t-shirt and then modifying sound. First attempt! much to improve, hope it comes in useful.

For "man of la mancha" i needed the sound of don quixote hitting the stage while off stage fighting windmills. I dropped a sandbag a few times, and added the sounds together. You can hear the slight reverb from our walls. I wanted the slight echo effect of the stage, so that the audience thought he really fell.

Recordings from one of my workshops at uni. Gareth stuart is playing while we test mic techniques for: interaural intensity difference, interaural time difference and which techniques and positions reduced the instruments natural hiss, but we also discovered that a lot of people like the clarinet's tuneful hiss. We used an ab split stereo pair , xy pair and then an ortf pair. Used rode's nt5 pair, veeery nice.

This is a warm up thing i do its derivative of thunderkiss '65 by white zombie its really funky and fun to improv with that little riff they got going on in that song.
