A single distant thunder has been recorded in the evening on 6th of may 2013, in pécel, hungary by my stereo dictaphone.

A rumble of thunder. Recorded with a tascam dr-07 mk. Ii microphone and a røde dead kitten windscreen.

A stereo wav recording from a zoom h1n during a thunderstorm today. One siren picks up followed by several more producing a convincing stereo image. I have done a basic bass roll-off, but have left it otherwise untouched. If you have a spectral editor you can probably clean out more of the noise, but i couldn't do so and keep the sirens sounding good.

Thunderstorm came nearby to the north part of pécel, hungary on 5th of sept 2012. It didn't produce rain onyl thunder. You can hear the loudest thunder - with the guinea-fowls from the neighbour. . .

Regular and continuous rumbling thunder. I stood at my back door and recorded the storm as it rolled by. No huge thunderclaps or lightning strikes, but a steady stream of flashes and rumbling that followed. If you need a prolonged active storm backdrop, this is it. Recorded on a tascam dr-40. Loopable recording of a thunderstorm.

This is a recording i made during a lull in a storm, i recorded in ortf configuration with a pair of akg c1000's through a mixpre-6. I pointed the mics at my neighbour's house which had an overflowing gutter/drainpipe making the water slap on to the concrete. Recorded 2017 in melbourne australia.

Recorded with a zoom h1 n. This is similar to rain-on-veranda-roof-and-window-glass. Wav except instead of recording on the window sill, the device is hand-held aloft in the middle of the veranda and closer to the ceiling. The rain on roof sound is louder and less rain can be heard striking the glass windows. It's a typical intense winter rain storm with wind gusts and driving rain in the month of january on vancouver island.

Recorded on zoom h4n inside a tent and underneath a nylon tarp during a heavy rain fall. It starts off light, and gets heavy around the 4min mark.

Rain with light thunders inbetween. At 0:17 a girl ran through the rain. After that you can only hear the rain, thunder & cars. It was recorded indoors so it is a bit muffled. Maybe good for a indoor scene?.

I opened my window and set the mic next to it during a thunderstorm. There's a thunder clap near the beginning that is loud and peaks the levels.

Rode nt4 -> maudio delta1010lt, capturing a lightning strike that made the walls of my house shake, and forced me to turn off my computer. The lightning occured ~167 meters away from the microphone, calculated from the time lapse between the initial dc spike and the start of audible strike. Clipped quite a bit, had the input slightly too high, but did not expect one to hit so close. A picture hanging on my wall shook violently when this one hit. Recorded using a pair of rode lavalier microphones from a loft window. The hail stones were hitting the metal flashing (i think that it what it is called) around the window. Loved the rhythm and hypnotic nature of this. If you use this recording, please let me know as i'd love to hear how it is used.

Recorded in my backyard with rode ntg-3 / dead wombat on zoom h6 recorder. Starts off with one decent short clap of thunder, but mostly rolling low rumble thunder and some rain here and there. Some of the rain drop sounds are sharp off of metal, some is just lightly hitting the ground. Some nearby trees blowing add to some of the ambiance.
