Downpour in a mountain village in the dolomites. Noise of driving rain on the ground and metal roofs and wind. No thunder and lightning. Recorded with a zoom h1n.

Rain against my closed window. A blend of tiny drops against the window, deeper ones against the road further away, and a flowing drain to the side. Loops perfectly.

Late winter snow storm last night in the detroit area 3-3-23 around 9pm est. Was attempting to record thundersnow but by the time i found my batteries the thunder and lightning stopped. Threw my zoom h1n under a plastic cloths basket just incase the thunder started back up, but no luck. This is a short clip of the original hour long recording. You'll hear, sleet, snow & wind.

The wind and rain is whipping the plastic coverings of a construction site at one house, some things fall down from the scaffold. The rain becomes more and more heavy and loud, the raindrops beat down on the leaves of a chestnut tree and the plastic sheets. Zoom h1n recording from this morning's rainstorm in metro detroit. The original recording was from 5:02am to 7:26am, but due to a lot of secondary rain drops splashes hitting the recorder directly when the wind would shift i edited it down to 52 minutes after taking most of the knocks outs when i edited in movavi. Pretty steady rain for most of the track as you hear the hum from the morning commuters in their cars increase in the distant background. You'll hear some birds too throughout the track, mostly starlings i believe.

This storm came thru this morning and i recorded it on my zoom h6 using the built in mics. There are some good rumbles of thunder in this recording.

A light thunderstorm in carrboro, nc. Not too much wind or heavy rain, but some very good thunder claps. As the thunder slowly fades away, some distant traffic and a siren can be heard. Recorded on a zoom h2. This was uploaded as vorbis instead of flac or wav because it's quite long but i thought people might find it useful to have the whole thing. Some intelligent de-clipping was also performed in audacity to remove some slight distortion from the loudest claps.

A soft rain followed by a loud thunder, recorded some years ago in my house during a storm, with the pc microphone. Half an hour of the storm was recorded, and i've extracted this part with audacity to share in here.
