This is a recording of birdsong in the middle of the vienna woods between kahlenberg and cobenzl on a may afternoon. I used an iphone 5s to record, then converted the file to a wav file using an online conversion tool.
Recorded in wet area by a cornfield in northern dutchess county ny around 2005, using a matched stereo pair of (soundroom, inc) oktava 012 mics w/cardioid capsules in an x/y configuration feeding a marantz 660 digital recorder.
Birdsong and crows in the fields above my home in the fog and damp - so sounds amplified and 'hollow'. Recorded using a sennheiser 'shotgun' mic. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. The odd airline going overhead can be heard. Quite an eerie sound-bite. Feel free to hash it, mash it and trash it. Use it as you wish. No conditions.
Unknown bird species from bellingham washington, recorded with a zoom h2. If you know what kind of bird this is, i would love to know in the comments :).
Morning after night rain 15 april 2016 near northfields tube station. Early birds of all kinds: singing birds, flying airplane (from heathrow), people walking to the job, first cars. Apogee mic and iphone, mono. It’s my first soundscape, please help to define bird species on this record. Thanks.
A typical early morning summer forest soundscape recorded on may 28th 2016 with the marantz pmd-661 and two sennheiser microphones for a true stereo recording.
Zoom h2 handheld next to an indoor window. Steady rain, no thunder. Normalized, then compressed in audacity. No attribution necessary, but would love to hear from anyone who finds the sound useful.

Pobblebonk frog named for the sound of its call or the eastern banjo frog. An australian frog with a distinctive call. Note i've used selective eq to remove the cicada calls. An accompanying file has the cicada calls unedited. Recorded with rode ntg5 - > zoom h4n pro -> processed in adobe audition, equalisation, hi-pass, eq.
The frogs from in front of my house. You can also hear frogs and crickets in the background, and also a car driving by. Recorded with a sony digital recorder.
Caminhando sobre folhas secas e gravetos. Estação: outono. * foi gravado bem perto das folhas, mas ainda sim há vazamento de sons que vem de fora da fazenda. Basta uma varredura de frequências indevidas e tudo estará resolvido. (footsteps on leaves and gravels). Gravado com celular samsung galaxy usando o app "tape machine lite". (recorded with samsung galaxy using "tape machine" app for android). Http://www. Imagemhost. Net/myh. Jpg. 16 bit. Wav44. 100 hzmono.
A tawny owl is shouting several times and a church bell of a church, in 200 meter distance, is ringing two times. The reverb is natural, it is no added soundeffect!. The spatial impression is best if headphones are used. Ch1 = flch2 = frch3 = rlch4 = rr. The download-file is a polywav. If you need to split the file (e. G. To make a stereo file), you can use the easy to use"wave agent beta"(free)from sound devices for example. ;-)https://www. Sounddevices. Com/product/wave-agent/_________________________________________________________used recording gear:zoom f84 x rode nt1 (without "a" = the black ones).
A very summer sound: a large bee buzzing by the microphones. This is a carpenter bee, commonly referred to as a bumblebee in the united states. Recording can stand for most any buzzing insect, though.
