A recording made, midday, on thursday december 8 2022 of a light, but very cold rain hitting the bare trees and the wet, brown leaves on the ground in a midwestern usa forest. Towards the end you'll be treated to a group of blue jays making a huge racket!other than that, no animal sounds at all. The sound was recorded with a yeti blue microphone in my room (which is not soundproofed). It is a recording of a turkey baster dropping water into a bowl full of water. Sound has many patterns of water droplets.

Squishy wet grass.

Our expresso machine making a latte. You can hear it start up, fill the mug, as well as the milk whipping part of it softly run in the background. There’s probably some background noise to this because i was making breakfast. It can get pretty loud i was recording up close.

It's raining in my city and decided to record.

Made some chicken alfredo and as i was slapping the noodles with the wooden spoon it sounded great! works for some gross effects or if someone gets slapped you can supplement your slapping noise with some moisture for some comedic value ;). I believe sound clips should be openly shared, but i am always interested in seeing how people use them ;).

Recorded near a drainpipe, i have no idea what the bass wind sound in the background is. I think it was some sort of exhaust from the basement around, but i don't know why it turned off and on. In any case it makes for a very spooky ambient effect.

An attempt to create the sound of tentacles moving using a wet shower mat in a bathtub. Useful if you're trying to create a horror movie type sound where a tentacle creature is moving around. Possibly. Recorded using my tascam dr-40 and then added a bunch of filters in my daw (hindenburg).

The sounds of walking through muddy/mucky patches after rain within a forest in howard county, maryland. This sound was recorded on a zoom h6 handy recorder with a sennheiser shotgun microphone.

A wet plopping sound, such as meat falling into a puddle. I needed the sound of a body dropping into a pool of it's own blood. This was created by letting a soaked rag drop onto several sponges full of water from a height of about a foot.

I recorded this sound at home, in the belgian country during the end of a storm (but there is no thunder sound). You can hear rain falling and a river flowing nearby. Very relaxing and useful if you need a rainy ambient sound. I recorded this simply with a tascam dr-40 (internal mics) and just edit it properly with audacity.

One of a series of heavily processed sounds of a squelchy stress reliever toy. I ran the original recordings through s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, combining and mulching everything into new, dynamic sounds with lots of interesting, muddy contours.
