This is the sound of a tuning fork (a little less than 440hz), which i recorded using a guitar pickup. I used this sound for coursera course "audio processing for music applications".

This sound was recorded on the breakwater of gandia's beach. We can hear the movement of the waves of the sea crashing with the rocks andsome motorboats, sailboats and boats.
A simple 440 hz tone (sine) created in audacity. Or at least that's what it's supposed to be. . . For some reason, when i uploaded it, it sounded all distorted.
This is a sine-wave that sweeps from low to high. Cassette emulator is added and some reverb. A long high pitched tail is at the end, which i forgot to remove. Inspired by the film "wavelength" by michael snow.
If your reading this you probably recoiling in pain. Sorry about that. I was trying to replicate the same pitch you hear in those horror movie screams, you know the ones. The final result was more jarring than expected.
A test tone that can be used for final mix for tv and other similar media. It contains 10 seconds of silence and then 30 seconds of a 1khz test tone (sine wave) with the digital level set at -6dbfs. I use a voltage controlled lfo (vclfo) for this experiment. When i send a trigger to the lfo it resets and start over again. In this example i'm using a sinus wave output. I send the output, the sinus wave, to1 - a sample and hold (s/h) module2 - a quantizer3 - straight to vco. The s/h and the quantizer are triggered at the same time. Even an envelope a generated with the same trigger. All three sounds are controlled by this envelope. First out we have s/h (left)second straight to vco (right)third the quantized (center). As usual its fun to take a real close look at the wave!.

A 1khz wave, often used as an effect for a flatline, test pattern, censorship, etc. This one more for effect (such as a movie) than a test tone. This was built with a square waveform for maximum loudness.
