One minute of my 3 minute sound walk. It is my experience in downtown manhattan beach during the evening. Repetitive sounding walk, but very soothing experience.
A 10 min recording made at a beach resort on the fiji coral coast in july 06, recorded on a pd-170 camcorder with 2 sennheiser mkh416 in crossed stereo configuration. Original is 48khz, 16 bit. I have a higher bit rate version if you like this one.
Waves coming onto the shore at dunwich in suffolk, uk. This is the north sea. There are people (and a dog) on the beach. The beach is a mixture of sand and stone, with stones being piled up further from the sea and soft sand with some stones at the edge of the water. The movement of stones can be heard, as can a young child and others. This was recorded with a sennheiser me66/k6 attached to a zoom h5. No editing.
A few minutes of sparkly fresh water lapping on the seaside. There are a few occasional aural intruders, such as the low rumble of an engine in the distance.
Small waves breaking on the shingle beach of cley-next-the-sea, norfolk, in jan 2016, while a strong offshore wind blows. Recorded with nt55 omni spaced pair in blimp, with sound devices mixpre-d and tascam dr70d.
Two pairs of footsteps walking past on shingle beach at cley-next-the-sea, norfolk, while small waves break in the background and a strong offshore wind blows in jan 2016. Recorded with nt55 omni spaced pair in blimp, with sound devices mixpre-d and tascam dr70d.
Walking on the beach alongside the atlantic ocean in summer but beyond the touristic zone. Recorder with a pair of okm mikes with rycotte and a r09 recorder.
There is a man in besiktas ferry port. He sits and plays trumpet between üsküdar port and kadıköy port. I saw him there couple times. So he belongs that place in a sense. I added flanger at two point just for my taste :) recorded by zoom h6 with internal xy mic on last quarter of 2019.
