My recording of the dawn-chorus in bishopstone glen, a small steep-sided valley with a trickling stream heading out towards the north kent coast near herne bay. Conditions at 5:30 am on monday 18 may 2020 were warm and gentle. Recording was made using tascam dr-07 mk ii.

Crows edited to sound like a sci-fi or cartoon sound effect. Could be used for any number of situations.

10am sunday in the middle of the lockdown for corona virus, covid19. Recorder left in garden then edited down to remove most of dog barking at neighbours, the few cars that passed and distant conversation that might otherwise ruin the purpose of recording just the bird song. Not the best example of bird song for which i will have to get up at dawn.

Easter sunday recording with distant children out in the morning sun but still all of us in lockdown due to sars cov2 virus.

I've recorded this oriental magpie robin in the philippines in a small province on the side of taal lake. Its melody is really cool ! the file was cleaned a little bit. I denoised it and got rid of some unecessary frequencies from the surrounding jungle.
