Time to give something back here. Hope it's useful. Mix out of a soft synth kick punched up and up, by adding gated attack kick. Compressed and limited, maximal appereance of the kick by giving enough space for other instruments. Also can handle a subbass (+/- sidechaincomp) easily , because of the depth.

Recording of me flipping an electric switch in the bathroom, when i pitched down & went on to process it with weirdo effects, sounded off an explosion like that of a depth charge.

This was recorded with a tascam dr-05 settings 48/16 file rendered out in exact same settings. This was recorded just as it was getting light before sunrise. Nature at its best. Location in south georgia. Nature, birds, and cicadas.

This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. There are both harmonic and enharmonic sounds here. The bin as a wonderful resonance and a lot of low end. This is a mono recording through a sennheiser 416 and an rme pre-amp. Enjoy!.
