This is a loop i created for an upcoming production of king lear. Played live by me on the roland td7 electronic drum kit, and recorded directly into cubase on 3-1-07.

Another very old production, i think this one's from around 2009 even!. Using the reverb of a chord i made on my guitar i created a drone-y, washed out sound. Added some subtle bitcrushed drums, cymbals and a vst synthesizer plays some notes to fill it out a bit, and a dark brooding bass-like instrument pulls up near the end of the track.

Arbhar granulised vocals into microcosm via erbe-verb. X-pan and stereo strip. Plaits supplies percussion. Sequence from o-ctrl. 48khz 32 bit fp rendering in reaper for morphagene fans out there. Enjoy!.

A rather bass-heavy 18 second 160 bpm looping sample, with the usual pile of synth garbage on top. Created in fl studio, making use of the toxic biohazard plugin.

Used a mini mod filter and tuned it up slowly so you can cut out the wanted pitch, switch daw to 120bpm to cut it preciselyenjoy.

909 kick with massive distortion and eqíng. Used the eks-9 vst plugin to emulate a 909 kick drum. Placed a huge load of different distortion plugins on different spores, to create a heavy distorted sound. In between those distortion plugins i used several eq's to manipulate the sound. I layered three different snare drum takes to achieve this one. All three of those takes are from a ludwig black beauty. I did a close, stereo overhead, and stereo room mic configuration. Originally recorded/used for an 80s cover song i've been working on. Sounded nice in the mix so i thought i'd throw it on here. -yellowtree.

All this time i´ve been doing a ton of drum samples from almost every edm subgenre, so, i took a transient from a house club kick and a sub bass i made by miself, compressed the hell out of them, distorted the sub bass and added the special sauce, the izotope ozone 8 to make a cool jungle terror kick. Note: you can expect from now seeing drum sampples in this page!!!.

This synth that i created for this drum step track i worked on, has an awesome bassline to go with it as well.

Transient sounds formatted for use in make noise morphagene. Recorded with zoom h4n in a kichen, then processed in ableton live. There are a few drum transients from a recording session as well.

Today i needed some techno sounds. Bmc drum, jupiter storm and wasp filter. Yes!.

A 44 second long, 130-bpm dance/techno beat loop created in fl studio. Mostly percussion/snare driven with some strange sounds on top.

My original dw toms, mixed with themselves 1 octave up [the octave up is lowered -6db and the envelope reshaped to allow loud only the attack]. Then for that resulting mixdow again the same thing [so i used the same method two times]. At all steps i was using the simple compressor[not multiband] for not allowing overlimiting. For the two general mixdowns [because it was a double process] i used hard compressor at -0. 45 dbs. And for the two octavic parallel channels i used hard compressor -3. 60 dbsbecause the octave doesn't sound realistic if not well compressed. For all my dw octavic tomsed i used the same exact method. My original dw toms are here if you want to read data or mics. These toms do not sound realistic as stand alone sounds. These harmonics work better only in a complete mixdown, and have increased audibility than the original recordings [for silent music parts use the original because low velocity of parallel instruments will expose the supportive tom-harmonics].

Dubstep-ish beat programmed in caustic and mixed in ableton. Extra fx for a glitchy sound and a "womp" bass sound for extra weight. Run through satson cm for some warmth. 4 bars at 140bpm.
