This is the sound of two crickets giving a concert in a secluded area. There is also the sound of a large truck operating to your left. Loopable, as far as i know.

Last night i took out my handy-dandy little tascam dr-07 and recorded the irritating bark of the dog next door. There are crickets and, occasionally, another more distant dog that is heard.

These recordings were done during my recent vacation in brela, croatia, with a zoom h2 set at 90° diffusion. By mid-september a lot of the migrant songbirds have left southern illinois, along with their songs. But, the insects and their choruses abound. This recording made on september 21st, 2012, in a clearing surrounded by heavy forest. Equipment: zoom h4n recorder and the microphone was the rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone.
