Hello i am an all around artist currently going to school for my master's in art education. This is the first sound that i have created to represent the sounds of the heart monitor i was on due to seizures. Well, the title is kind of self-explanatory. Recorded on april 2018, this is the sound of a 18 weeks old fetus heartbeat, beating at 150bpm (approx). Or that's what they told us at the clinic :).

This is a vague, subtle and deep recording of a heartbeat.

This was produced by tapping on a stethoscope which had an earbud pressed against a shure sm57 mic. Low pass filter applied, as well as compression and a gate. Chorus added. Used a recording cassette deck as a preamp going into an m-audio audiophile usb soundcard. Note: if you're having problems listening to this clip, the cutoff frequency of your speaker set may be too high(solution: new speakers). The signal strength exists almost entirely in the very low frequencies, so you may need a sub-woofer to hear it. Otherwise, try turning your speaker volume all the way up. Doing so may saturate the signal and at least allow you to hear the harmonics of the signal caused by the distortion. I don't recommend it, but you'll at least maybe be able to hear something.

This only happend to me once in my life and it hurt(i went to the hospital after this attack). I used a device that can give me almost the clearest possible sound of my heart beat. Also i gave the very tiny parts where my heart was beating at 400-600 an extreme amplification because those parts are very quite.
