Crowd conversations jumbled together on a packed trolley car in new orleans at afternoon rush hour. The hum of the trolley motor as well as passing traffic sounds.
Manipulated sounds, mainly dogs barking, recorded into a korg kaoss pad3 from a hp computer. The recordings on each pad edited to fit a time frame. Played on four pads on the korg pad and recorded back into the hp computer into cubase. Then manipulated further using standard eq and a tint of reverb. Location: reykjanesbær, iceland.
Dead air on an a. M. Radio station while lightning in the area "tickles" the frequency to create static peaks. Perhaps similar to the sounds of a radiation or metal detector.
