I thought i would see how many sounds i could get out of my sound buzz. Wav, so i took that click at the end, added reverb and slowed it down about -81 percent. Made with audacity.
A butane lighter being flipped close, making a sharp "ching" sound with a high pitched metallic tone as it reverberates. Works well for closing a zippo also.
Some outside sounds recorded with r-09, water running, small stones being scrambled with broom, ironfence played with little metaldevice. Processed with grain granular in pd. Add. Reverbeastjutland, holme, århus, denmark.
The rumbling roar of an approaching freight train then the whistle and passing cars. Some good screeching from the metal. The train passes and fades. Recorded pretty close but with trees in between.
Second recording of the clanging metal joint on a highway overpass, captured from inside a trolley car (you can hear the jumbled voices of conversing passengers).
A high-quality mp3 recording of a person sharpening a war dagger. Sound created by rubbing a fork on a butcher knife. Recorded with a black sony digital ic voice recorder.
A metal key attached to a magnet with its handle only. The key bounces back and forth, when pulled back and released, and produces a nice metallic sound.
Samples of the small glockenspiel i started out on as a child. Have fun! :-). Recorded with a zoom h5 and a rode nt2000. Edited in audacity and ocenaudio. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-).
Squeaky security gate in our kitchen. Recorded with zoom h6 recorder and rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. Cleaned with reaper. Feel free to leave a link to the project that you used this sound in. Would love to see and hear how you used the sound. :).
A 6-in-1 brass hammer being dismantled and put back together. I am aware that there are a few "pops" in the sound, but i am not completely sure how to remove them, so i left them there in case someone with more experience in audio editing wants them. The sounds i recorded from the smallest possible parts of the hammer are not included because they were way too quiet to be useful :1.
This is an edited version of http://freesound. Org/people/bird_man/sounds/317136/. I used this version in my short film here https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=l9vovhdli70&t;=2s.
