This started out as a basic kick drum pattern i was experimenting with in ableton, and then devolved into me applying an obscene amount of delay, echo, reverb, compression, and filtering. And now it sounds vaguely like a helicopter :).

Created a loop in audacity by hitting an old coca cola collectors glass with a spoon in several locations, altering the pitch of these sounds, and applying them in a rhythmic fashion. Ended up with a kinda creepy march-like sound.

This was created with sampled percussion from the keyboard in adobe audition cs6 and recorded via logitech webcam mic. The sound was further de-noised and cleaned in audition's spectral view and effects applied to make the arrangement work. Hopefully this will prove useful to some.

This is a recording i made of a handle-less serrated knife rubbing against another of the same type, back and forth. I then cut out the lighter points to leave the heavy tones, then i gave it a little stretch and filtered it. Recorded on a zoom h2.

Another sound that has been heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable. This sound byte is an odd one that i made when i was pretty bored, it might be good for a drone or sound of a phantom or something. It could even be a warning or system message for a game. I made this using an alto recorder and then adding reverb to it. I have made it longer or shorter by just adding or taking away pieces in the middle. It was made to convey a sense of foreboding. A horn sound signaling danger approaching. Gradually increasing, it's basically saying, "oh crap, what is that?" originally recorded on a zoom h2, it's a sound of me humming. Of course it's been filtered, slightly stretched and had distortions of a high degree thrown in and filtered more to achieve the horn sound. Enjoy!.

A walk from my studio on surrey canal road to surrey canal station passing a match at the millwall stadium, a group of ticketless millwall fans watching from a vantage point on the path and commenting on the upcoming general election, the roar of the crowd segueing into the ominous rumbling/squealing of the south east london combined heat and power waste incineration plant and the sound of trains passing on the rails overhead and adjacent to the path. I won't claim that this is a ghost as i am sure many would debunk, only that i believe it to be. This is an evp i found during playback for something else i recorded in audacity with a usb condenser mic. This happens a lot and i have quite a few. It sounds to me like a voice that is not mine is saying "watch" i cleaned it up as much as i could but this was barely audible originally so i had to bring up the volume a lot which made the noise floor pretty loud. I did some noise reduction to make it sound cleaner. I have personally had experiences that i believe to be supernatural but decide for yourself as you listen or use it as make believe. I have more i will upload when i can including ones from places that have been researched and said to be haunted (taken on my phone). I have to find them but as i come across them or new ones i will share. No need to credit me, i am just sharing this for fun. 11/29/2018 - burbank, california. Rain, flooding, and mudslides come to california when a sudden storm hit today. Most people got off the freeways quickly and tried to protect their homes from water damage. This recording was recorded with a zoomh4npro (2018) set at 120 degree field-pattern mode. The zoom was placed on a tripod facing out a 3rd floor window into a dead-end alleyway below. This recording is great atmospheric sound. The water can be heard trickling off spanish tile rooftops and dripping from overflowing terracotta pots. From the passing cars on a distant highway, to the occasional cough of a homeless gentleman walking on the street below, this recording is genuine and clean. Imagine adding that sound of a metal garbage can and a shrieking cat in the night! a sound that's great for sleeping or portraying a dark alley in gotham!. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.
