I made this recording when visiting india in 2019. Next to the street there was a fleamarket with vendors playing pre recorded advertisements for their products. You also hear people chatting, motorcycles passing by and chlidren laughing.

This is the source recording for my first sound made for my "a sound design everyday" project. Every day i will record a sound and then create designs, collages, and lil' music tidbits using the source recording and only the source recording. Sunday walk on german coastal city travemünde's cliffs. We gently push a bike and ring its bell twice @1. 26 before sitting on a bench to look at the sea. Other strollers pass by while indistinctly speaking in german. Nice panoramic. Recorded with sony pcm-d50.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using a rode nt1-a condenser microphone. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Any thursday, 12:00 am more or less. I was sitting down in a bench, looking to the buildings opposite me, with the road at my back. My handy recorder zoom h4n in my hands. Some people was chatting next to a car and then they got inside and they left (you can hear that on the left channel. Got it? "left" channel :d). You can hear people passing from one channel to another, cars and motorbikes. It was in c/ bravo murillo (madrid, spain). In that part, it is a one way street for vehicles, so all of them go from right to left channel.

I went to a spot where traffic will slow down, stop and take off and drive at 60kms during peak. 4ch surround recording of a bike riding through city traffic (leipzig/germany) on an evening in late spring. Recorded with a zoom h2 with a rycote windshield in a shock mount fastened to the center frame above the pedals. All recordings in the set are raw from the recorder and will usually need a hi-pass filter to deal with the rumble. Steady riding and freewheeling along a minor street, with some cars and a scooter passing, some gear switching and stopping at a red light with cars passing on the intersecting street at the end. These are the rear channels, mics set to 120° dispersion.
