1 minute of standing outside near wind chimes. I used an iphone 6s to record and then used audacity to normalize the recording and convert it to an mp3 file. I recorded this on 2/4/16 at 9:47 am in bloomington, il.

Went in and played with some sound clips i had to make them ready to upload here. Ended up adding a "chorus" filter to some high pitched noises i made for a stop-motion, and the result was this! enjoy :).
I needed a wall of crickets but could not find a decent one so i used some samples and multiplied them to make it sound like hundreds of crickets. Enjoy. Nice to fall asleep to, but the loop points could use some fixing-up.

Territorial carpenter bee (also referred to as a bumble bee) busy working away at wood. The buzz varies from the gnawing worker sound to the aggressive flying buzz used when trying to intimidate invaders into the bee's space. Background urban sounds: traffic hum and songbirds.

Used blue snowball to record flapping of thick paper, then sped up and repeated to produce an easily-looped light flapping sound. Originally produced to represent beating fairy wings in an episode of the super legit podcast.

I went to a horror film festival and mostly got the music stuck in my head. This was one attempt to work it out. Not majorly successful but maybe useful to someone. As ever, made with edirol orchestral on cubase.
Went out to get birdsong and general ambience without realizing it was going to rain. First two minutes can hear birds and bugs and nature sounds, then past the 3 minute mark the rain begins to set in gradually.
I honestly don't know what to call this effect because i had no idea what is it called. This was a bit similar to that hallelujah effect though. Feel free to use it. Created in 3ml editor and edited it in audacity.

Decided to test my mic to record high frequencies)) note that even with a decrease in the loop on the octave (-12). Harmonic signal will sound up to 20 khz. Tune: f2, +25 centrecord gear: ecm 8000, prismsound lyra. .
1k generated sine wave, 120ms long. Typical nagra beep that you find between takes on a blooper reel. They used to place a couple of these between takes recorded to analog tape in order to differentiate between multiple takes when fast forwarding.
