An elderly bathroom extractor fan is switched on with the lights, left running, switched off and eventually cuts out automatically. Its bearings might be about to pack up, or there's something catching the blades, or both! the start was surprisingly noisy so the file has been hard limited to -1db. Recorded with a sony pcm-m10.

Small distant boat returning to marina with the sound of wading bird calls and waves hitting the embankment. A man and his dog were on board though i cannot clarify if the dog barked or the man sneezed. Microphone positioned on an embankment in hamford water nature reserve, essex, uk. Had a short relaxing session with my modular. I wanted to use the "divide by 64" patch and make some generative sounds/music. I added some mixer feedback. This is a patch for 2 voices.

City sewer outflow to the baltic sea in gdynia, poland. Outflow dry, zoom h4n's internal mics placed 30 cm inside a sewer outflow (about 1m diameter) directly to the sea. No editing whatsoever. If you're as sick as me, you could hear the waves coming in and out of this tight pipe. . .

I played this ironfence to a church next to my house at latenight, the wind in the background gives a nice deep dimension to it, wind works almost like a sidechain tuch. Recorded with r-09, processed in logic 8 add. Reverb. East jutland, holme, århus, denmark.

I installed in december 2011 my sound data for bfd-eco, an acoustic drum vst that really rocks. By that time i had my akai mpc 1000 connected to my computer to do some sampling. While i didn't do any sampling while the installation progressed i did hear that the external hard drive that i was installing onto sent out disturbing binary pulses that my mpc picked up. I quickly started the sampler, and recorded as much as i could of the noises. This is the result.
