My great-uncle and great-aunt have an old grandfather clock. It doesn't quite work right and only chimes 7 times at 12 o'clock, so i had to record it at 11 and add another chime. Nonetheless, it makes for a great ambient sound, especially in a horror setting. I recorded it with my tablet (samsung galaxy tab a) and edited it with audacity (added in an extra chime, converted it to stereo, etc. ).

Various samples of me opening and closing my old wooden drawers, mostly with clothes inside of them. Different drawers have different weights of clothes in them, and are in different states of repair, so if the first sounds aren't quite what you're listening for, take a listen to the later sounds. A melody i made in garageband for a show called victors crypt. It's creepy in a way with a spooky melody on zylofon which makes it childish in a dark twisted way. This is a classic hip-hop sound made by playing a snare forwards then backwards, with a hi-hat from the same sample played the same way for added effect. Drum sounds are from an old-school soul sounding drum break i found on soulseek. I created this in ableton.
