A short, noisy, electronic sound processed heavily from a voice sample. Made in audacity by yours truly.

I've sampled one of my bass patches for zynaddsubfx. Enjoy :).

This sound is from a field-recording in the peninsula de paraguaná, edo. Falcon, venezuela. It is basicaly wind hiting the mic´s diafragma, equalized at a very low frequency. Trying to get better on the pluggin, please leave comment if you like. . !!.

Synth loop created on the minibrute, using arpeggiator mode with a touch of delay. Loops at 63bpm, this is 2 bars of the same loop. Enjoy!.

Sound created by square wave lfos, attenuverters, hard synced vcos, delay, reverb and filter. I think it nice. Kraftwerkish. . .

The guest room i am staying in has a tile bathroom. Each time i take a shower, i hear this magnificent hum of the water heater clicking on and then turning off once the shower water is stopped. I was fortunate enough to hear it click on while i wasn't in the shower and captured about 30 seconds of it before it died. Infinite variation, impossible to replicate. At the end, as the water heater shuts down, it clicks down into the lowest ranges of the frequency spectrum; i didn't hear it until i listened to the recording but the couple of seconds of that are just as magical. Wish i would have left the recorder running!. Captured with a zoom h3-vr to ambix format at 96k24bit and bounced to stereo. Processing: 24db gain to all 4 clips, izotope spectral denoise to get rid of the air in the room and izotope ozone to enhance the bass signal a touch. Enjoy!.

A short segment as i played along with the ramones' song: my brain is hanging upside down. I recorded it on my roland td-9 module and edited it in sony sound forge and sony vegas. There's a slight buzz that i get and i tried to clean it up as best i could with noise reduction. Someday i'll figure out what is causing the buzz. Please comment on what you may use it for. Bass drum pattern (hit also) : a suspense pattern bass drum with tape echo. Resembles, very faintly, a heartbeat without the echo. Synthesized using the "synth bass drum" module in kong in propellerheads reason.

A noise i made with a bassdrum. Recorded in stereo with rode nt4 + zoom h4.

A simple square wave, done with chirp generator in audacity. Starts at 200hz then slides until 30hz. Bass booster and phaser added. Then enveloppe manualy modified (enveloppe tool) + fade out processing for the end of the tail. Then normalized.

I start with a standard reese, next i add a low-pass filter with some attack and a high resonance. Good for drum&bass tracks.
