Just closed the door of our washing machine! recorded with my xperia phone. Sound is trimmed, dry, and can be used readily as a "thud" (!!!!) sample.

I needed the sound of a large piece of raw meat falling into the dirt. This is what i came up with. Use this far and wide. This site has been massively helpful to me. Here's a bit of give back.

Dropping an umbrella on various soft surfaces. Useful for softer impact foley. Also included some sniffling free of charge! :). Recorded in a fairly quiet bedroom with the zoom h6, stock mic attachments (which i think sound pretty good considering the price tag!).

Reversed impact with reverb and fx's(48khz, 24bit, wav format). Sounds where created using ableton live as daw, reaktor ensembles and m4l devices as synths and processed with long fx chains. Useful for idm, glitch, experimental dnb.

Made with audacity. Sounds included:sound ideas, hit, cartoon - sharp tube thunkwarner bros ping sound. Credit to all, since you are free to use and remix sound ideas sounds. I'm not too sure about the warner bros ping sound though. It's not on any sound ideas library. But i think just like the sharp tube thunk, that one's also creative commons. Every sound ideas sound is creative commons.

I was recording with audacity on my blue yeti whilst in my room. The mic was totally unbalanced on my bed and it eventually fell over but when i played it back it sounded like a nice whoosh or poof. Also if you put it in reverse it sounds like a giant wind flap like a bird or something.

My attempt at creating a falling sound -a descending tone followed by an impact. Made with audacity.

When someone falls down from somewhere very high.

We hit the top of a wooden stool with a children's sticky hand toy to create a slap sound.

Sound of four hits against my own hand, can be used for any kind of hit.

Reverb heavy body blows and falls. I was sick of finding only small-sounding hits so i made these. They were made by combining and compressing / eqing other creative commons 0 freesound files, but i'm too dumb and lazy to credit them specifically. Thanks, y'all.

This effect is created from various sound like space impact, heart beat, glass smashing.

A heavy crushing gore effect, most suited to vehicular assault or if you use the tape effect, it works very well as a bullet impact.

Note: credit not required but it is appreciated, and i'd love to see what you create with this if you use this!. Impact delay i made with a kick, delay, reverb, some other source sounds and effects :).
