I recorded my fingers an a cookie box, very close. Sounds a little bit like falling fruit onto a soft surface. Homerecording, so some very distant background noise.

Recorded this in my backyard at midnight, my neighbors probably hate me now. Recorded on a tascam dr-70d with a rode ntg-3. File is stereo but contains two of the same mono track for ease of use. Group kmm-ambient field recording of faint construction, leaves, birds, and the usual sounds of a college campus. Recorded from third floor dorm room, pointed directly at ground, and recorded with a zoom h4 handheld recorder, high gain. Normalized in peak pro 6.

A wet plopping sound, such as meat falling into a puddle. I needed the sound of a body dropping into a pool of it's own blood. This was created by letting a soaked rag drop onto several sponges full of water from a height of about a foot.

It's snowing in october. . . In kansas. I guess winter came really early. (the leaves haven't even fallen off the trees, not to mention they are still green) so, i decided to record the sound of "snain". Enjoy! please credit me if you use it! :).

I wanted to record the sound of a keyring - or rather the keys strapped to it - make while in mid-air. There are the keys audible, recorded hitting the stack of hay (soft landing) and air blowign into the mics while the recordied has high velocity. I was throwing my recorer with my left hand, while simultaneously throwing my keyring with my right hand. The throw was vertical and the landing zone was a pile of hay. I thing there are some interesting sound here, i'm uploading it unedited to make it possible to cut out whatever you like. Recorded with a flying zoom h2 at 48khz/24-bit, edited, nomalized and converted to flac using audacity.

This was a tape cassette and case thrown against a wall, this represents a solid plastic object being thrown or dropped from a height and smashing on the floor with a piece of plastic breaking off and hitting the ground for the 2nd impact.
