This is a big, empty box that had 64 bags of chips in it. It's being broken down and flattened before being recycled.

Recorded with my zoom h2n. This was me trying to come up with the sounds of a snake swallowing something large for an animated cartoon.

Cartoon-style bomb launch and distant explosion. Doppler shifting whistle starts at centre and pans to extreme right with fadeout. A muted detonation follows at extreme right - a non-realistic and short explosion. Created with ni fm8 running as a vsti inside flstudio 11 with a touch of fl reverb2. The "projectile" whistle is a soft square wave lightly modulated by a sinewave at 6x the frequency of the square wave fundamental to give it a touch of metallic ringing.

Falling sound of something electronic. Maybe a bit too synthetic for cartoon effects but ymmv.

Designed for a sound design project this is a very short clip of a cartoon style belch, combined with a lip smack.

The sound caught my attention and i thought others might find it useful. The sound comes from a small cardboard box with a glossy exterior being removed from a slightly bigger cardboard box causing the little pop at the end.

This is a little cartoon thud.
