Yep, i'm reading alen stranges "electronic music: system, techniques and controls". Interesting from start. This is a patch made with lessons from chapter 4. Changed pitch on one osc and added some drums. Some editing in audacity compressor and limiter.

Some sound fx made with modular synth. Could be useful at drum sounds or game sounds. The sounds are unedited and you have to cut em out you self. Sounds a little 8-bit. . . The reason are they are generated from square waves.

On planet sdtrangi the music sounds about the same everywhere. This was recorded during a visit last year. It was recorded in the gyyyhnd cave.

5 min recording. Question. Do you hear any form of repetitiv pattern?the "engine" for this. . . Is a feedback patch. Chaotic? maybe. The colors the soundfile get here on freesound reveals patterns. I use this feedback patch to derive timing and pitch. I restrain the pitch. It's bad enough as it is. The feedback patch is made with 2 lfos, 1 vclfo and a vcad.

Heavily processed sounds form the symbiotic waves module by pittsburgh modular. Filtered through the intellijel atlantis filter. Effects were minifooger chorus and occasionally strymon delay or flint. The name give a hint which oscillator model and processor were used.

Bartonmusicalcircuits decaying analog noise (bmc23) recorded raw. Manual wiggling. Pure analog high-hat drum module. At the end you hear the pure noise. Germanium diode based noise!.

Patch 2: inspired by distant airplanes. Had this in mind. Now i patched up my idea. The wind (or what you decide to call it) is controlled by alm pip slope. New module – for me. Used an external effect, the zoom ms-70cdr. Patch 3: read about feedback. I decided to do a feedback patch. First i made one using oscillators, but i did not manage to do something nice. So i used filters. The first filters feedback is generating triggers. Oh, yes, and i used my sampler (soundmachines ul1uloop). So three patches. I merged/mixed them together in audacity. All sound unedited. Just normalized and i have applied fade in/out – and mixed them together - as written.

Decided to do an exercise from "the book of bad ideas c 2. 0". This is exercise 1. 3 just intonation. Nice. Then i start to turn knobs and get modular mayhem. . .

Trying to create a not totally correct entropical paradise patch in vcv-rack.

In this patch i’m using doepfer a-160 clock divider as a sub bas generator. Square wave out from doepfer a-110 to trig in on a-160. I guess a square wave makes it easier for a-160? /4, in this patch, out to uvcf. The sawtooth from a-110 to another nice filter - the wasp filter. The transient modules 8s sequencer gives us an 8 note sequence. A copy of the sawtooth melody is going to an analog delay stomp box from joyo and back to the synth. Three part modular uncomposition. Or call it a patch driven by a mix ofchaos and order. Perfect as annoying sound. . . Made with a analog modular synth. The reverb is a spring reverb.

Another one with 1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 33 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. So, what do you think? one more time i switch looping mode off and then on. Cool technique.
